Question about 1994 Toyota Camry
In order for you to get the ignition out you are going to have to drill a small hole in the housing and press in the retaining pin manually. it will be hard for me to describe the exact drill point to you with words, but if you have the new ignition switch in your hand you will see where the pin is and you can estimate where on the housing to drill the hole. as soon as the hole is drilled - take a small metal punch and you will need to smack the pin up into the old switch,, this will allow you to remove the old ignition. now when you are putting the new ignition in, before you do you will need to use a flat blade screw driver and turn the inside gear to the accessory position so when you slide the ignition into place everything lines up right.
