Put the fuse back in and try a different cd. It could have been the cd and not your stereo.

Is this a factory cd player or an aftermarket or custom installation?

It sounds like your amp is overloading or your stock speakers can't handle the input. If you are turning the volume way up, I mean way,way up, then I would think it's the speakers. Unless of course, it does the same thing at low volume.

It does the same thing with the volume on way low too and keeps doing it until the fuse is taken out..???

You say it does it til you take out the fuse. Do you mean it does it even after you turn the radio off?

Well, I'm totally lost now. I did some research and found one other incident like yours. It was a fairly new MiniCooper. There was no solution to the problem. Sorry, I don't have a clue what could cause the speaker noise with the power off. Hopefully, someone else will be able to help.

First check the thermostat being stuck open causing high temp, can take out and drive to check or replace, inexpensive part. Not sure on whistle, maybe window slightly cracked or vacuum line disconnected or cracked

If you are stopped and can turn the wheel back and forth, it is not the power steering.

Sounds like the transmission

Check this link for location.

2002 Pontiac grand am suddenly stopped running while driving now just hums when trying to start

run fault codes and check for cam/crank position sensor fault. check that the cam shaft is turning over ( broken timing belt) The whistling sound is probably air from compression escaping past bent valves.

Check for loose/ dirty battery connections. Check condition/ tension of the alternator drive belt. It would appear that there is a loose wire some where that is causing an intermittent power flow to the cpu

Replacing bushings for the rear on a 2004 cadillac cts 3.6L

The howling is more likely rear hub
bearings- in wheel knuckle assy

Check for differential axle seal leaks
& check fluid level before that goes bad

I have a 2004 Lincoln LS with similar rear
drive & no problems with dry rot & it sits outside

Replace the worn parts

Try Rock Auto.Com & try for Moog Parts

The Stabilizer Links are shot for sure front & back

Sounds the transfer case is making a howling noise when driving down the road

Gears are low on oil or the chain drive is worn out or input output shaft is worn out. Check oil level first.
