Yes, a fuse or relay could be bad, but the hard part is finding it. Maybe try an auto electric shop to determine where the relay is from a schematic.

03 Oldsmobile bravado front blower motor stopped working. Back blower works good.

Might want to check fuses, if good then need to check for power at the blower motor with a test light. If no power, possible bad relay or broken wire. If there is power, you may bad a bad relay or blower motor.

2004. Why is the blower motor not receiving power?

The blower motor relay in the auxiliary junction box under the hood is good ? All relays ? only one controls the blower motor ! The electronic automatic temperature control module turns it on by supplying a ground inside the module ! The 30 amp fuse for the blower motor is located in the under hood auxiliary junction box ! At the relay socket test for battery voltage at pins 30 an 86 ,power form 30amp fuse ! The other two pins 85 an 87 ,85 is circuit to the electronic temperature control module . You could test this part of the circuit too , with a test light or volt meter . But if no voltage to the blower motor ,could be the electronic temperature control module is bad ! I have 2002 infinity I35 and the blower motor stop working ,I took out the blower motor to make sure was good. YES the blower motor still working .the only think I really don't know how to check is Blower...

WELL YOU HAVE TO USE A VOLT METER CONNECT ONE VOLT METER WIRES TO GOOD GROUND AND THE OTHER VOLT METER WIRES GOES TO EACH SWITCH SPEED.IF VOLT METER GET VOLTAGE A 1 OR 2 CONTROL SPEED RESISTOR BAD.IF RESISTOR BAD YOU WILL GET 1 OR 2 BLOWER MOTOR SPEEDS.IF BLOWER MOTOR WORKING.CHECK THE AC AND HEATER CONTROL SWITCH FUSE OR CHECK BLOWER MOTOR FUSE AND RELAY.IF ALL GOOD SO FAR CONTROL SWITCH ITSELF COULD BE FAULTY.

Location of heater blower relay on '92 Accord

If the fuse is good, check to see if there is voltage to the blower motor,if there is,replace the blower motor.Sometimes, not always,if you bump the blower motor,it will start working,if this happens, then the blower motor is bad,if it does not,the fan switch could be bad,but the relay is usally near the blower motor.Testing it with a test light is the best way to test it,ground one end of the test light, the other end has a point on it.Use the piont of the test light to touch all the legs on the relay, with the key on,and the fan on high. The test light will light up,on almost all the legs, but it will also activate the relay when you touch the right leg of the relay, the relay needs to stay plugged up as you do this.If you can not access the legs of the relay, because of a skirt on the relay, push the point of the relay into the wire that you are testing,or into the plug, near the leg of the relay. The legs I am refuring to,are the prongs on the relay. If the relay clicks and turns the fan on,when you touch the right one, then the fan,and the relay are good,it will be the blower fan switch. Now if you already have high, blower fan,and the lower speeds are the problem, replace the blower resister,It is mounted right next to the blower motor, and has about 7 wires plugged into it.

Blower motor does not work

I had the same problem, replace, replace, replace. Check, check and recheck. What I found was the blower motor resistor, located in the blower squirrel cage area, two prongs and a curly wire, was bad. Took the new one back, (it ohmed out okay, continuity ok, all ok!) replaced it with another, and Bingo, problem solved. Frustrating to say the least. After two relays and a blower switch, and test, test and retest. It was a faulty resistor. Made in Mexico. And no guarentee, even though new, it works. Trial and error. Even the dealer parts are Honcho en Mexico. Thanks NAFTA. You gonna make us all welfare babies.
