Those keyless code pads go out so often and have so many problems ( fuses blow and touch pad contacts fail ). the truck is fairly easy to jimmy if you have the right tool ( stiff wire ) to do it - what you are going to try and attack is the pop up button linkage itself -- if you can get a strong wire and make it into a ' Z ' shape and put a small hook in the end of one end this will grab the linkage and get it to move up,,, you will want to make some small wooden wedges to wedge the door away from the window ( this will make sure that you do not nick and brake the window -- whick is very easy to do ). while fishing the tool in the door - keep your eye on the lock button for movement so you know that you are in the right area.

Why is my security light coming on in my 03' chevy impala when driving im scared it will stop on me when doin tht

Hard to say why the light comes on , may have a diagnostic trouble code stored in the BCM - body control module ! Do you have a bunch of other key's on the same ring as the vehicle key ?
Passlock™ System
The theft deterrent system has been incorporated into the body control module (BCM). The theft deterrent system prevents the vehicle operation if the correct key is not used in order to start the vehicle. The ignition key turns the ignition lock cylinder. The cylinder rotation produces an analog voltage code in the Passlock™ sensor. This voltage code is received by the BCM. The BCM compares the voltage code to the previously learned voltage code. If the codes match, a class 2 message is sent from the BCM to the powertrain control module (PCM). The message enables the fuel injectors and the crank relay.
The design of the Passlock™ system is to prevent vehicle theft by disabling the engine unless the ignition lock cylinder rotates properly by engaging the correct ignition key. The system is similar in concept to the passkey system. However, the Passlock™ system eliminates the need for a key mounted resistor pellet. The components of the Passlock™ system are as follows:
• The ignition lock cylinder
• The ignition switch
• The Passlock™ sensor
• The body control module (BCM)
• The SECURITY indicator
• The powertrain control module (PCM)
When anyone of these codes set the BCM will turn on the SECURITY light !

DTC B2958
DTC B2960
DTC B3031
DTC B3033
DTC P1626
DTC P1629
DTC P1630
DTC P1631

Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop an have it checked !Here are some reasons for the light to come on .
Conditions for Setting the DTC
The BCM detects a short to ground on the Passlock sensor power circuit for 1 second, with the ignition switch in the ACCESSORY, ON, or START position.
The PCM has detected a loss of the state of health serial data message from the theft deterrent system.

Audi A6 2007 avant.key fob will not open or lock the car. Lock's ok using key

Hello first have you changed the batteries ?
second have you tried putting key in ignition and turned to number 2, and pressed the fob to lock unlock door ?
3, your fob maybe damaged and will need repairing if it has been dropped a lot the parts inside can get damaged and will not fully work, you can check this at some garages to see if a signal is being sent. for a price. only other part that can go wrong is the receiver, this is coded to your key for opening etc doors, you will need a code reader designed to cover your model of vehicle to check this is still working.

The alarm isnt working... car wont start, buttons wont work!

Just a possibility, but a discharged battery could be the culprit. Do the headlights come on brightly? Will the horn blow normally? A 'dead' battery will usually have enough power to illuminate LED warning lights, while not having enough current to operate the starter/door solenoids, etc. Have somebody test the battery voltage to be sure.

Automatic locks continously going off

I have a dodge caravan so I am not sure if it will work for you. My minivan did this while iwas driving as well as as the lights flickering(interior). What I did was to reset the alarm by putting my key into the driver side door and turning it left to right about 4 times this resets the system. Try it maybe it will work for you too.
