Most cars with dead battery you can turn key, then lift handle then turn key more to manually unlock (driver's door).

Is the brake light switch on my xlr behind the pedal?

Follow the brake pedal and there will be a switch on the top..most cars are designe this way.

Engine runs rough whsn idling but runs smooth at top speeds,the check engine light is on.

check the timing, it might be out one notch. also, check the torque converter and maybe the censors while you are at it just to be sure. otherwise, check the main brain of the car.

I had my a/c converted over to the new style and it still wont come on,i was told that it probably was the brain box for it under the dash,i looked for it but there are three boxes under the dash on the...

converting from r-12 to R134A should not cause you any problems, did they replace the capilarry tube? the dryer reciver and the oil changed if it worked before you switched over there would not be a reason to change out the A/C brain.

PO740, for my 98 Dodge5.9 van, has come on several times. i am suspecting that the solenoid is faulty. could I just purchase one and install it?

I did some surfing and found this. Hi everybody, listen the torque converter might not be bad, its could be the switch in the transmission might be the problem.I
I know on the chyrslers that its a plug on the front of the transmission the operates the torque converter.That plug is hooked up to the brain thats is in the transmission oil pan.You will have to take the pan off, then there are some bolts to take out and you will see the brain of the transmission.that works with the loc-up torque converter,and the brain works with making it go to the forward gears and reverse.Check it out and you will see.make sure you take the plug out first. Hardtop will not retract

roll both windows all the way down and hold the buttons for 5 seconds, then roll both windows all the way up and hold the buttons up for 5 seconds.this resets all of the computers and sensors for the retract system...
