Change the fluid and filter asap, make sure you use correct fluid, take notice if fluid is burned or smelly. if you notice some improvement drive car an hour and change fluid again, second, transmission cooling radiator might not be working properly.

SOURCE: 99 acura drives slow w/ no tranny shift & no speed-o-meter

Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) or check the transmission control module for burned capacitors, etc.

SOURCE: my 95 chevy tahoe has new tranny shifts fine when

Sounds like you have an electrical problem. Your truck should have a 4l60E in it, which is controlled by the PCM. If the speed signal is missing it will shift poorly and at the wrong times. Check the connection and wires at the vehicle speed sensor on the drivers side of the tailshaft housing. If this is something that started occurring after the the transmission was replaced look for pinched wires or other damage to the wires that may have been done during the installation. I've seen some sloppy transmission shops damage things or leave stuff loose so just go over everything.

I was told by a Chrysler tech that it's the shift solenoid located in the trans. pan. There are 4 of them and you have to have it checked to see which one. You don't want to replace all 4. About $80.00 at a dealer! Mine does the same thing. 2004 Concorde lxi.

My tranny is slow shifting and the s light is blinking

The "S" light flashing means the speed sensor went out. Is an easy fix. I got mine for less than $40 and it was not hard to install. As for the gears going in too slow, I dont know. Good luck.

ABS Light/ Speedo erratic/ Low Speed Tranny Slippage

ABS should not effect the speed of the car or truck only if your car has traction control this will effect speed by slowing the motor down. And also will effect your trans on shifting.

95 geo manual tranny have had problem down shifting to 1st gear for couple months now 2nd is getting hard to downshift and upshift have replaced rubber bushings bolts etc.on shift linkage adjusted etc.

Sounds like your synchronization rings inside the tranny are wearing out try changing the transmission oil and adding product like lucas oil treatment , if it helps lay off the downshifting until your ground speed matches your engine speed for the gear your ring to go in. like really slow speeds ...
