Wood burning or pellet stoves create acid vapor. The vapor damages thermocouples faster than a gas stove.

I ran my 2001 monte carlo out of gas, and after getting gas and primming it, it won't start, HELP

How did you prime it? Try a little starting fluid from the breather tube to the engime while someone trys to start it. If you poured allot of gas in it somewhere or featherd the pedal its prolly flooded. If thats the case leave it sit for awhile and try it again.

In cold weather car cranks, but it does not have enough power or fuel to get it started. Have new battery. Have had to use starter fluid as well as a jump to get it started in this cold weather. What could...

a worn out starter could do it if the bushing in it are worn it would pull to much power from the battery and would not turn the moter over fast enough to pump enough gas to start the car if its carberated then it has a manual fuel pump the fuel pump wont pump enough gas if the moter is not turning over fast enough i would either rebuild the starter or replace it.

I changed my fuel pump, it gets gas to the moter but will not start. I have changed all the spark plugs and still will not start, has a strong turn over and i can smell some gas after a couple trys.

Check for spark,if there is no spark,it could be the crankshaft sensor. If it has spark, check the timing to make sure it has not jumped,or broken.

My 1995 mazda 626 4 cyl wont start. its getting gas spark. when you turn the moter over you hear like a muffeled noise at the moter not muffler

Your problem could be a lot of things ,,without hearing the noise we have to gess your problems like
1Chech the engine for turning over if not then its the starter bendix slipping and if it is turning over as usual then its could be the starter ring on the flywheel and if so turn key off and turn engine over by hand about 1/2 way around on bottom pully and try starting again and if it starts then its the starter ring.
Engine or Gearbox out job.
Let me know how you get on . Ron

Car wont start! has full tank of gas, battery is fine!

Ensure that your fuel pump is okay. You might need to make a change on that cos that will definately be the cause.
