Coolant should be added to the plastic expansion tank located under the hood. It will have a full and low mark printed on the tank, fill it to the full mark and close the cap. the cap should be a yellow color. Make sure it is for the engine coolant, NOT the windshield washer fluid.

If there is not a hose connected to the bottom of it you'll have to remove it and dump it out.

How do i change the distributor cap in my 2003 gmc sierra?

this truck uses coil on plug (distributorless) ignition. there is not distributor, therefor no cap. there is an individual coil pack for every cylinder, with a very short wire going to each plug.

How do I change CAB filter - 2003 GMC Sierra 1500 4X4

Hello roesusie: My name is Roger and I will answer for you. In 2003 GMC did not put a cabin air filter in the 1500 or Denali trucks. There is no openings in the heater case for a filter. Some one would have to physically cut the heater case to install it. Sorry I could not give you the answer you wanted. Should you need further help please just ask. Please rate the answer as this way I know it was helpful.Thank You for using Fix Ya. Roger
