1999 Ford Taurus. I haven't started the car in few months. I wanted to start the car but nothing. I also tried jump starting I'm trying to get it going. The only thing I get when I try to crank is zzz

First step is to charge, check & replace the battery. It is probably dead or weak. Next is fuel issues gas is only stable for a month before it begins to break down and absorb water. System needs to be drained.& filter replaced. Then go from there.

1999 ford expedition wont start after battery been out for 2 months

Recharge the battery and retry.

Turn on the vehicle headlights. If they dim considerably when cranking, then your battery requires replacement.

My 99 Taurus acts like the battery is dead it will crank the engine over a couple times slowly then nothing I've had the battery tested and it was good same with the starter it won't jump start...

If the battery and starter have proven good, then you probably have a connection issue.Check condition of battery, wire to battery, and starter wires and connections also. I dont know your particular situation, but there is always the possibility of a motor trying to sieze.

Non use restart issues, what do I need to look out for? the car has been sitting for 6 months and I need to get it started again. are there items I need to be aware of ie. fuel pressure issues

put fuel stabalizer in the fuel tank and change the oil if it has sat for a long time, and don't park it on grass it will rot the underside or the car and the tire's
if the car ran fine when u parked it i woilden't worry about fuel pressure

2002 ford tarus cranks but wont start. 32000 miles. I did not drive much during the last 6 months. I started it and it ran fine drove to a neighbors house when i tried to start it cranked but would not...

First, verify that there is gas in the vehicle. Next, listen for the pump to energize when you turn the ignition switch to the on position. If you dont hear anything, check the fuel pump relay. Swap it with another one next to it, they are often the same part. If it still doesn't energize, its most likely the pump thats failed. If you hear the pump energize, then the pump pressure needs to be checked. A fuel gauge needs to be connected under the hood on the fuel rail to read system pressure. Verify that its at factory specs. If not, replace the pump.

1999 Ford Taurus Wont Start

Tapping the starter does not always work. I would check all the connections on the battery and starter. If these are good replace the starter. Don't forget the grounds.
