HI, I think you might have a vaccum leak. You can remove the glove box and look and see if you have a vaccum leak this will also not let the blend door open or close causing no heat , You should beable to see the blend door motor ,start the van and see if the blend door motor is moving, if its moving take the three 8mm screws out and remove motor and try turning by hand. The blend door could be broken. If i can help you anymore feel free to re post.
Thanks dodge tec

Just a suspicion: hissing noise comes from failed/jammed/malfunctioning motor to move the door
in the ducting to route heated air to the hoses/ports for "heater" and "defrost."
Problem: failure of motor/linkage to heater/defrost selector door under the dash on the passenger side.
Also sounds like you have not blown fuse to this selector door.
Also - hissing noise could be air being forced against the closed door (which should be open) - in this
case, you'd want to check the fuse to the heater/defroster actuator door.
The rear heater works since its function is not related to the operation of the front heater/defroster.

Try changing the door switch. It should be a relatively easy fix if that is the problem.

Under the hood is a drain for the cowling under the wiper arms. There is a plastic tube that gets clogged and water can't drain from that area. It is against the firewall on the passenger side. I found mine full of pine needles

The rear ac evaporator box is not draining very well, and it is blowing the condensation up threw the vents, most likely. The drain should be under the rear passengers side wheel well.

2005 Grand Caravan has no heat at all - has digital A/C and Heat controls. Engine temp comes up on the gauge so it's not a stuck thermostat

First check the coolant level. If that is ok, then start the van and let it get up to temp. Inspect the passenger side front floor and carpet. You may need to peel back the carpet a bit front the front. Youre looking for coolant coming into the vehicle which is a sign your heater core has failed.

Is it low in water? You have a heater control valve on that side . Your heater hoses connects to it to let hot water in the car when the heater is turned on. Check and make sure the passenger floor is dry. If it is wet you will need a heater core
