Power window do not work

the two plastic covers that hide the Torx screws. Once you gently pry off the plastic covers with a flat head screwdriver, use a Torx T-27 screwdriver to remove the two screws. If your Torx T-27 screwdriver is not magnetic, expect the screws to fall down into the bodywork. You can get them later once the panel is off. you can see the Torx screw that is hidden behind the plastic covers. Once you get those screws out, pry up the master window switch by lifting it up from the back end where there is a clip holding it in place. The top of the switch by the power mirror control is held in place by a plastic piece that is delicate and will break if you're not careful

Remove all the connectors from the underside of the driver's master window switch by pushing on the tabs with a flat head screwdriver and gently rocking them out. Then you can pull off the door panel by exerting outward pressure on the door handle and pulling with your fingertips at the gaps that form around the panel. The panel is held in place by plastic clips. If you have never removed the panel before it might take you a few minutes to get a hang of it. The clips will look slightly messed up once they're out but you can always buy new ones at any auto parts store or just re-use them. Some of the clips may have remained on the car in the metal. Just wiggle them out with your fingers or a pair of needle nosed pliers.from this point you cam see wireing motor of window replace motor if needed

Remove three Allen head bolts down behind seat cushion back.

Lift off head rests...pull up.

Raise top just enough to make side flaps flip up.

Remove nut at top rear corner.

Remove Nylon/plastic push lock rivet where seat belt goes through panel... top corner.

Pull panel off mounting pins...will sound like your breaking it !

Lift panel to access seat belt bolt and unplug Flip-Up panel motor.

Remove loom thro' panel.

Pull seat belt thro panel.

Set panel to one side.

Remove Torxs bolts around black plastic panel for speaker.

Unplug speaker.

Pull loom thro' hole.

Remove two Allen and 5 hex bolts where window would come out. if it worked.

Pull up plate and remove rubber seal to one side and then remove plate. remove two nuts at bottom of regulator and one half way up towards front.

Lift regulator and window glass up thro' top to gain access to three nuts holding glass tho regulator.

Lift out window and then regulator....little maneuvering and levering required.

FYI....Take digital pictures as you remove stuff for later reference.

New regulator and glass is around $600.00 from dealership and only the dealership.

How do I remove the driver side door panel to replace window motor

1. Remove 2 small screws at bottom of the door panel (6mm)
2. Remove small black cover from inset for door handle (pry it out carefully with a small flat head screw driver or panel removal tool) and remove bolt behind it (8mm)
3. Pop window/door lock control panel out with the same flat head screw driver and disconnect all connectors. Remove small screw from behind it (6mm)
4. Lift straight up on door panel and then tilt toward you.
5. Disconnect mirror control connector.

Install motor/regulator to 2000 camry solara

It easy ! You need a philips2_bing.gif and flat screw driver,8" X 4" block of wood and a needle nose pliar.
Use flat screw driver and pry out the two or three dust covers for the arm rest screws then use philips and remove the screws. Next use the flat screw driver and pry out the black plastic mirror cover from the inside of the door. Pry out the switch panel ( aka master switch panel) with the flat screw driver and disconnect it. On the side of the door panel just above the striker is this plastic push pull typeof a hold in screw. Use flat screw driver to get it to move a little then pull it out with the needle nose. Depending on which door your doing if you have a map folder ( driver or front passenger door) in the door there are two more screw to remove on the bottom of the door.
Now the inside door handle is tricky it comes out in two pieces. Use philips and get the only hold down screw you see out.( you may have to pry out al ittle screw cover first) Now the handle cover is removed by placeing the flat screw driver on the rear of the outside of the cover top and on the outside rear bottom to release the tangs that are holding it onto the panel.Pry it out lightly you may have to place the screw driver over the top of the door release button and pry that way. Don't loose your cool its a pain but it will fall out. Once its removed unhook the panel.

Next lift the plastic cover and remove the six gold2_bing.gif bolts first(For motor and regulator) Then push the window down till you see the two bolts holding the window to the regulator .Remove them, BEFORE YOU PULL OUT THE MOTOR AND REGULATOR YOU WILL SEE TWO TANGS THAT HELP HOLD THE REGULATOR AND MOTOR TO THE DOOR MARK THE RELOCATION , NOW pull out the motor and regulator have an assistant hold up the glass while you place the two blocks of wood to hold up the window. Now order your regulator and installation is in reverse. Good luck kate. Keep me posted.

How do i remove the driver's side dr panel on a 2007 trailblazer ls

Look for several screws.Mainly around the arm rest and auto door locks and window switchs. If you have a window crank you will have to remove the handle,if you push in on the door panel around the crank you will see the U style retainer that holds the crank on.You can usualy get it off with a small flat head screwdriver. The bottom and two sides will be held on by plastic push in retainers.Start at the bottom pry out with a screw driver to give you room for you fingers and then just pull. You will probibly break a few,but you can get replacements at the dealer.Top just sits on top you will have to lift up after all the others are free.

Driver's side window won't go up. Possible switch or motor? How to replace motor or get window to go up manually.

Solution: Chevy Impala Window Fix - If the window goes down but wont go up or stutters on the way up. This is a difficult process but if you have some common knowledge and a little know how it takes about an hour to fix.

I broke mine by leaving the window down and then rolling the window up while it was wet. I did this multiple times so I cannot blame Chevy for the problem. Started stuttering at 80,000 miles

Tools: Star drive screw driver, small flat head screw drivers, dental pick, Q-tips, thin sheet of hard plastic (I used two hotel room key cards) Optional: Soldering equipment

1.) Remove the two screws in the handle of the door to and take out the window control switch. (easy)
2.) Unclip the two wiring harnesses on the back of the panel - I did this with a flat head screw driver and a hotel room key card to wedge under the clips and not break the harnesses. (easy)
3.) Remove the back of the Window Switch box. Once again I used aflat head screw driver and two hotel room key cards to wedge under the clips. (complicated - most time consuming portion for me)
4.) Take off the five window switch tops, pull slighty to one side and then the other. They do come off but it feel like you're going to break the thing. (easy but do it slow)
5.) One the five button tops are removed take off the top of the switch plate. (easy)

Now you're looking at the main switch circuit board. I took a picture to make sure I knew what the circuit board should look like when reassembled.

6.) Remove the large plastic X in the middle of the board. Then use a dental pick to unclip the plastic "horseshoe" attached to the driver side window switch. (easy)
7.) Use a dental pick to carefully unclip the driverside window switch. Visually Note the position of the two "M" shaped pieces. Then take out the two little "M" shaped metal pieces. At this point the bottom right connection of the switch in my car was all blackened by lots of use. I used a Q-Tip to clean all the areas of the switch. Note: there should be some lubricant on the top of the 2 "M" shaped pieces of metal so the switch functions efficiently. (Complicated - go slow)

At this point I took apart the right rear window switch to see the difference in wear. Do not try to exchange another Switch with the driver side window switch. The driver side window switch has clips for the "horseshoe" piece that was detached earlier.

8.) Two choices to Fix the problem:
A:) Put a slight bend in the left "M" shaped piece of the switch so that the connection can be completed when pressing the window button. (Easy)
B:) Put a small dollup of solder to raise the connection area, to complete the connection. (Complicated)

I put a slight bend in the left "M" shaped piece. You can visually see the difference in the two pieces when you press them down. The Left "M" shapped piece in my Switch had to raise up an additional 1/16 of an inch to touch the lower side of the connection. With a slight bend it worked perfectly. I had my solder gun ready but figured if it went out again I could put a dollup of solder in the bottom connection to fix it the next time. No sense in taking the risk of over soldering when a simple bend did the trick.

9.) Reassemble - reattach the top of the driver side window switch ( make sure the blue dot is facing outward), reattach the "horseshoe" shaped clip to the window switch, put the large plastic X back in the middle of the Switch (it can only be put in one way, there is a gap to cover the auto roll down horseshoe piece), put the top plate of the switch back on, put the back of the switch plate back on, then reattach the window buttons to the top of the switch plate, reattach to the two wiring harnesses - Double check the button is working, then put back in the door and screw back in place. (easy)

Troubleshoot: If the button didn't work, redo steps 1-6, then slowly do step 7, then take apart another switch and compare, make sure the "M" shaped pieces are in the appropriate position, if they are add a small dollup of solder to the lower left portion of the window connection and file down the top of the solder for a flat solid connection. Reassemble and try again. If the window still won't go up. Take apart, then exhange components of another switch on the circuit board. You will no longer be able to use the Auto Roll down function but at least the window will work properly. By exchanging the pieces of another switch on the circuit board you may loose the function of that window, but you can always get out of the car and use the switch on that door to roll the window up or down.

Hopefully that works, if not, go to a junk yard and get the pieces out of another switch it can be almost any Chevy of similar year Switch.

How to install a new window for my 2000 concorde?

The first step is to remove the door panel. The door panel is held on to the sheet metal door frame by plastic push pins that fit inside the door panel (where you can't see them). Use either a flat head screwdriver, or probably a pocket knife would work best, and slowly work your way around the door panel prying the panel and plastic push pins away from the sheet metal. There will be most likely a couple of regular screws in the middle of door but will be much easier to notice where when you have the those pins pushed out. Once you have the panel off your window motor sits inside your door frame and is bolted on (3 bolts if I remember correctly) and attaches right on your window lift assembly. Your window is also fastened to the assembly by two plastic clips that push in on the very bottom of the window. When removing those clips be careful not to apply too much pressure as the curve of the glass makes it very easy to shatter. It would help if you could get someone with small hands to do it. Once the clips are removed you can remove the entire window and replace. PS If you break a few of the plastic push pins don't fret because Autozone sell packs of them to replace. Hope this helps, let me know how it goes and if you need some more help. Good luck!
