Lights were left on battery died jump startedthe car now radio will not come on and fuse is still good

When there is no power to the radio from the car battery the radio security system kicks in and you will no doubt have a radio in your car that needs to be reactivated by inserting the radio security code. Check your owners manual on this for details on your model vehicle (which you don't identify in your question)..
If you do not have the code to reactivate the radio you will need to get it from a dealer if it is still in the car manufacturer's data base for your model..

I had someone change the radio in my 1998 camry and it did work. My battery went dead, dead and once I replaced battery the radio now doesn't work. Why>

Car radios have security codes to prevent them from being stolen. If they lose power, such as when replacing the battery, they lock out. This makes them worthless to anyone trying to steal them. You need to have the unlock code to reactivate the radio. It is provided with the vehicle at purchase, or by the retailer when selling replacements

How can I get my radio code? I am about to replace the battery and was told that I need code to reactivate radio. Please help wild6425@yahoo.com I need a radio code to reactivate the radio.

Call the dealer and give them your VIN number. They should have it on file. If not, then you can also buy keep alive memory gadgets that plug into your cigarette lighter and are powered by a battery. This will save all of your car's memory from being erased

I have just replaced the battery in my Hyundai I have the code of the radio how do i put the code in and how many digits are supposed to be ? How do I actually put in the numbers in the radio so it will...

Try looking in the glove box for a sicker or in the back of the Manuel book for the code. There is 4 numbers to reactive the radio. If you can not find the code, try 0000 to reactive the radio. At worst you can log on to Radio-code.com. There is a fee for the code, but you get to keep the code and most of the time it's cheaper then the dealer. Good luck and keep me post.

Replaced battery in 1996 Honda Accord which deactivated radio.

You need to code ..punch in code then power radio up and it will work. For a fee if its the original radio for this car the code can be retrieved by the dealer. If you entered to code incorrectly more than 4 times you will need to disconnect battery for 30 second and re-enter code. good luck and thanks for using FIX YA
