Question about 1997 Pontiac Sunfire
One of 3 faults to check for,
1. MAF Sensor or air mass sensor
2. any holes, leaks or rips in air pipes including poor seals around them
3 EGR valve, although you normaly loose power for days before it would get this bad, I would go for MAF sensor or air leak.
