you might try changing the spark plugs and the coil pack-and you could have autozone or pepboys do a scan for error codes then they could tell you for sure-cheers Denny

We have a 1991 Olds Delta 88 and the emergency break engages itself. What could be wrong and how do we fix it. Tiffany

this car has a cable system, and if the cable is loos, then its going to have to be repaired in the drum brakes in the rear. pull the wheels in the rear off as well as the drum covers. the cable adjusters are in the lower back of the drum close to the axel. here you will find some levers and springs. most likely these will need repklaceing and/or lubed.

Need help with installing a new starter on my 91 olds cutlass ceria

You need to put the rear of the starter up,push the starter in around the exhaust and then bring the nose cone down into the opening in the flywheel housing,it will take some jigging around but you will eventually find the right combination, then put the wires back in place and put the housing bolts back in.

I can't reinstall the rear drums on my 1994 mazda protege.

your new drums are thicker than the old ones due to wear. You may have to back the self adjusters off manually a few turns to get the new ones on. The adjuster is the little threadeded bolt lookin thing at the bottom of the brake shoes holding them apart. Turn the star looking dial to move it in aways. Afterwards back the car up a few times and push the pedal hard to stop. Repeating this will readjust the rear breaks after assembley. Hope this helps, Clay
