Sirius paint protection problem with bonnet leaving water marks on a car that is only six months old?

It sounds like the paintwork needs inspecting by an experienced paint professional.

Could be something has penetrated the lacquer coating and is now trapped behind it.
Paint protection systems have been responsible for many such instances after attacks by tree sap or bird lime or something more mechanical in nature has damaged the surface. Often such problem-causing damage is virtually microscopic and I have a pocket microscope which has been invaluable in the search for reasons why.

If something is trapped underneath the lacquer the cure will be a bare-metal respray.

In my opinion the best paint protection system is an old-fashioned hard wax polish and lots of time and energy. It is only by applying a regular hard wax coating that the thousands of the inevitable tiny and microscopic road-damage chips in the lacquer can be kept waterproof and prevent water ingress under the lacquer and paint which causes so much damage, especially in frosty weather. It is already too late when the results of such damage become visible.

Someone scratched the right side of my car with a piece of glass how can I get that out without having to get it painted

Hi Suzette, If the paint has been damaged through to the metal, there are no short cuts. If it is the top layer of paint which has been damaged there is a Turtle Wax product that may help you. In the event of needing to 'touch up' paint from your dealer. There should be a color code on one of the tags under the hood (bonnet), which will give a matched color. Regards John

On my 2005 Crossfire the paint is bubbling on the deployable spoiler. Is this covered under a corrosion warranty?

NO,but it is normal for the paint to bubble on some plastic trims due to their makeup/type of plastic.the corrosion warranty is not worth the paper you use in the toilet...."applicable only if the paint surface is not broken and rust has taken place under the surface of the paint layers"(how do you know if its rust without breaking the surface to see.........)
