Hi

Disconnect the car battery for 10 minutes, then when you attach the cables attach the red first then the black this should reset it, if you can leave it off for longer.

If still the same issue get back to me
Regards

Battery on car went dead, bought a new one, every time I hook up positive post car alarm goes off??????

May want to try connecting the negative cable last. Also, try locking and unlocking the door with the key or disarming the security system. The security system may have caused the old battery to go bad if it has a malfunction.

Spy car alarm, remotes wont arm the alarm system after my car battery went flat?

for security reasons this is difficult to reset usually the car and remotes need to be set up again. it happens when the car loses power so if the car is stolen or imobilised the car forgets the key codes.
take the car to a dealer or Machanic shop. prove to them it is your car and they will set the remotes back up for you.

i hope this was useful

I have a 1993 Jeep Grand Chorkee and just changed the battery. Now the Security system won't allow the car to start. HELP

Sounds like your security system module may have shorted out. Also the sensors on the lock mechanisms in the doors may be bad. I also have a 93 Grand Cherokee and the sensor in the rear hatch went bad on the lock. I now have to unlock it with the key using only the drivers door or unlock it with the keyless entry remote to unarm the security system.

ALARM SECURITY SYSTEM FUSE BOX FOR FORD ESCORT

Try the batteries in the keyless remote. Then if those are good on the driver side left kick panel. Is the fuse block. on top to the left there is a row of six fuses. two rows of three there should be a cover for it and on the cover there is a indicator on it for the alrm systems. try fuse first. the if thats not it then in the trunk on the right hand side behind the carpet is a box that is held by two #10 screws. take it off and on the box it has two wiring harneses and a antenna looking cable. try the box afterwords though because they are expensive. form ford they are about 400$ . try salvage yards if still no luck i have 3 systems with remotes.

its not a problem with the remote but the sensor attached to your car. you may need to replace the remote system or wiring.
