I purchased my used 2000 pathfinder recently and I use it in the tropical region where average temperature is 30 degrees centigrade and it overheats anytime I'm caught up in a traffic for more than 5mins

That's not normal and i would say check your coolant level and the Thermostat,if its ok then check the head gasket for any leaks by doing a compression test. Good luck

How to change from Celsius to Fahrenheit

To convert degrees C to degrees F, Multiply the Centigrade temperature by 9, then divide by 5, then add 32

Or, degrees F= (9/5 degrees C) + 32
Here's link to website which explains difference between Fahrenheit & Centigrade scales, & how to convert between them:

AC recirculation is not working (outside temp is -37 degree centiigrade).

there is a damper that opens and closes to allow air to recirculate or come from outside. Find out where that is and check it out.

I need to know the mixture for antifreeze to water

It depends on the temperature where you use your car.

The normal is 50% in areas lik where the weather is average temperature of 70degrees F .

Check on your container of anti-freeze when you purchase it.

Thermofans don't kick in, but temperature seems ok

Hello... You should not be concerned... This is normal... Also, normally you should not hear the thermostat. But the Fans don't normally turn on until about 100 degrees centigrade....

Good Luck

I have a 1987 MK 2 Golf and because of the age of the engine I use a multi grade SAE 20 W 50 body oil (Not synthetic) . I however live in the tropics so I can get away with that. If you live in the temperate region you could use a multigrade oil like 10 W 30.
Please note that the lower the temperature where you might live the lower should be the first number....for example if your temperatures go down to 5 degrees Celsius then you may want to get a lower rating like 5 W 30.
You can also confirm this at the service station and see what might be the best grade of oil to use.

Doe i use 10w-30 or 5w-30 oil when changing oil in my 2000 jeep wrangler in-line 6?

Multi viscosity oil use is dependant on the average temperature whare you will be driving. Read the can/bottle for recomended temperature range for the oil you are looking to use.
