Question about 1996 Volvo 850
Need to know how easy/hard it is to replace my starter... its an 850 96'... also how to do it?? PLEASE PLEASE help!!!
I haven't done a volvo like that, but as always starters are just a few bolts it is getting to those bolts and removing/reinstalling those bolts that is very difficult. Depending on the tools you have and the know how, it is not very difficult. You just disconnect the battery, then disconnect the wires going to the starter, sometimes after you remove the starter, but usually first. You can always pick up a haynes/chilton manual for about 20$. Or even better a factory service manual.
