Question about 1997 Chevrolet S-10 Pickup

The turn signal is normally located just to the right of the steering column. The easiest way to to find it is turn your hazard signal on and listen for the sound. The turn signal flasher will be within 5 inches of the hazard flasher. Also in some instances it is behind the glove box. If this is the case the glove box can be lowered down to get access. Looking at the glove box you will see what holds it open simply push down on the back of the glove box and unhook it. This will allow the glove box to drop down and you will be able to see the flashers. Remove and replace the defective one.

The turn signal flasher is mounted in a clip on the right side of the steering column support bracket. The hazard flasher is located in the component center, under the instrument panel, on the right side. Replace the flasher by unplugging the old one and plugging in the new one.
