I have a 2001 ford Taurus, car runs good when door locks work right but when door locks doesn't work, car doesn't run right and looses power going uphill

Do you know what a wiring diagram is ? Do you know how to use a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter ? How to do voltage drop testing ? Checking the compleat electrical circuit for the power door locks is the way to find out what your problem is . Videos on youtube showing how to do this the proper way . Looking at a wiring diagram I also see the GEM - generic electronic module is the control for power lock's . I suggest you watch this video as well Control Module Diagnostics with John Anello Mastering Voltage Drop Testing with Pete Meier and Jerry Truglia
Also you will need a factory scan tool or a professional grade , check for codes in the GEM . More then likely a lose connection , but code be a bad GEM module. Also could be a broke wire inside the rubber boot from the body to the door .

I stoped and turned off our Ford Taurus 1999 for a short time.
While I was ready to go, the car would not start ... no noise just a little click!!! The electricity came on and off while trying to start again. Shorter I tryed to lock the door automatically didn't work so I did it manually. Now I just cannot open the car automatically neither manualy. 2001 Ford Taurus door locks

The electric motor that pulls the lock button up and down has failed, you will need to pull the door panel to replace it. Yes it is fairly common.
