Question about 1997 Toyota Camry
My check engine light come on and I took it in to have a computer check on it and the code is P0773-solenoid E circuit electrical. Could you please be more specific on what this problem is. It is still shifting out good and no noises.
It is the solenoid that operates the lock-up function in the torque convertor. It won't do any damage, but will drop your fuel mileage probably 3 to 4 mpg. Most likely the solenoid itself is defective.
