Question about 1992 Mazda MX-5

Fuses My radio and interior lights are out. I assume it is a fuse but the fuse panel cover does not list radio. Standing on my head to get them out is bad enough, but not knowing which one to pull add misery to the problem. Does anyone have a real pattern to the fuses? Jerry

If you buy a cheap test probe/light and you have blade fuses you can test all the fuses without removing them.Any auto shop can explain how to use it as it is a very simple and basic tool

No interior or radio lights

Hi Gino-
Assuming the battery is good (you have other accessories operating), look in the fuse box to see if the fuses for these accessories has blown. You can readily see if a fuse is blown if you compare to a working one. You can buy these fuses at any auto supply store.

Radio lighting is usually on a different fuse, graba a test light and check all your fuses, you'll probably find the cure.

the radio and interior light is normally a different fuse to the windows the windows will be a 30a and the other a 7.5 or a ten max ,could be a corroded fuse holder in the power supply box under the bonnet

Clock and dash lights dont work or radio--

These items clock, radio, dash lights are usually fused on the same circuit. Please check the fuses for this problem. The fuse or fuses should be listed on the fuse box cover inside the interior fuse box. Replace the blown fuse if that is that problem. If it blows again, then the cig lighter circuit may be involved. Make sure the cig lighter is free of any objects, remove lighter, (push in part). Try new fuse while lighter is out, and if problem goes away, push in may be bad.

Interior dash and running lights dont work but my signal and brake lights work else works

Look at fuse #18, a 15 amp fuse, in the fuse block. This fuse powers both the tail lights and instrument cluster lights. Usually both of these light systems are powered by the same fuse so when your cluster isn't lit up you'll know right away that your tail lights aren't working as it's not safe to drive without tail lights. Your brake, turn, and head lamps are powered by different circuits. Hope this helps and good luck!

99 dodge ram interior lights wont come on

I had the same problem and could not understand why I THOUGHT I checked all the fuses, but there is a fuse on the drivers side which is covered by a black thing (no idea why). It is listed as IOD or something. If you lift the black thing up and remove the fuse you will notice it is blown. Replace this and all will be well again.
