The PO562 is merely a low voltage code. Tranny codes are 700's. It is possible your brakes are dragging and that's forcing a downshift early; hoist it up and check for freewheeling, but I would take it to a reputable tranny shop. Believe it or not, you can ask your Mopar dealer for a recomendation; most dealers do sublet some of their tranny jobs out to independents, esp their used cars. Keep the faith.

SOURCE: down shift hard
get a tranny flush and filter change, make sure you get a flush as well or the contaminated fluid will remain in the valve body and torque converter, if this may not cure it completly but will buy you some time to save up for repairs, it has nothing to do with the brakes
