What order do the spark plugs go in?

there is no set order in replacing spark plugs
however if you are asking the firing order for the plugs leads to fit to the spark plugs, simply remove one lead at a time , one plug at a time and replace that lead then move onto the next plug

What is the order of spark plug cables to the distributor for mazda 323 2001

On the distributor cap on each HT Lead connection there is a number presenting the spark plug connection with the cap. if the distributor cap has only the number "1" and not on the other hole for the HT lead connection then you fit the spark plug one lead and following the clockwise rotation fit the other HT leads. 1 for first spark plug,2-for second spark plug etc. First spark plug is fro the front of timing belt side. Good Luck!

Ithink my spark plug wires are in the wrong order, how do Ifind t

On any four cylinder engine the firing order is always 1-3-4-2. Cylinder 1 is at the front of the engine, the same end as the timing chain and the opposite end to the gearbox.

Remove the spark plugs and manually turn over the engine until the timing marks line up (down by the crankshaft pulley). You can use a socket on the crankshaft nut to turn the engine bit by bit, the purpose of removing the spark plugs is to prevent cylinder compression making it easier.

Once the timing mark has lined up, remove the distributor cap and observe the position of the rotor arm and briefly pop the distributor cap back on: the lead exiting the cap above the rotor arm should go to cylinder #1. The next quadrant that the rotor arm advances as you turn the engine over to will be the position that the lead for cylinder #3 attaches. By the same process you can then identify where the leads to cylinders #4 and #2 go.

When finished, ensure that the distributor cap is securely fastened and refit the spark plugs: if they're taper seat spark plugs (no washers) then when they just get tight then tighten no more than a further 1/6th of a turn. If they have washers then it's an extra 1/2 to 3/4 of a turn and a bit more if they're brand new plugs where the washers have never been compressed. Refit the leads in the correct order which you've just established and make sure that they're secure and you should be good to go unless there's another problem.

93 grand cherokee will turn over but won't start,,, starter, alt. crankshaft sensor, and ignition coil, battery have all been replaced recently....

Spray some engine starting fluid into the intake and see if it will fire. This will indicate whether you have a fuel or ignition problem. Take out a spark plug or use a spare one and with it grounded against the engine have someone crank the engine while you observe the spark. It should be a strong blue spark firing on a regular pattern. If not take out the coil lead from the distribuor and connect it to the plug and try again to bypass the distributor. You should hear the fuel pump start momentarily when you put the key to the on position. Also their should be fuel pressure in the fuel rail. You can check for fuel by undoing the cap and pressing the schrader valve on the rail. Their will be a tiny spurt when you press the valve core but be carefull. Once you have done the basic tests you can start to home in on the probem when you begin to isolate it.
