I replaced mine recently, i paid around 60 dollars for the pump and 10 for the filter, they both go inside the tank, i did it myself and wasn't too hard...

I have a 1193 buick roadmaster that idles fine but cuts out when I try to accelerate.what might be the cause?
check the fuel pressure and fuel volume you could have a bad fuel pump. also check the TPS, throttle position sensor, it could be worn.

Yes the pump comes out of the top of the tank.
Check with your local garages for estimates.

93 jeep grand wagoneer. Will start run a few seconds then die. does this over and over.
Check the fuel pressure.It sounds like you may have a weak fuel pump.If its not within the specs then replace the fuel pump and filter.

I am trying to locate on my 93 roadmaster the fuel pump inertia swich so i can replace could someone tell me where this switch is located???
There isnot any such switch on your car. What is the problem with the car???????

Without any prior problems my 1996 wagon started runnin roughly then wouldn't stay running more than a moment or two-one shop changed the fuel filter and a vacuum leak-second shop put in new fuel pump-car...
Have you checked the distributor or coils? Maybe your rotor is not turning. It could be so many things.

I have 1993 buick roadmaster wagon..i have problem with it overheating..i have changed the theromstat..radiator..water pump is working..yet car keeps getting over heated..someone told me there some valve...
check for proper ratio of anti freeze and water, check belts,

Yes you can, its on the Passenger side of the car, right under the back seat under the floor board, track your fuel line from the tank to there. Good Luck.

My car keeps cutting off
replace the fuel pump. it is internally shorted
by hitting the gas tank it jars the pump enough to make it run,then it shorts out agin and shuts off also perlace the fuel filter when u replace the fuel pump
common problem happens alot
