Lay the back seat down. there should be a handel you can pull to open the trunk. it is located near the latch.

Cannot access trunk without power

Battery Dead ; Could you expand a bit more on your post. There is a couple of reasons/solutions to your problem . I'm wondering why you don't use your key for entry. Is there a cable problem or a latch malfunction? No power to a switch ( if equipped ) ? There are vehicles equipped with an emergency cable that can be pulled from inside the trunk that releases the latch to avoid being trapped inside.

I need to access the trunk but the battery is dead and the manual trunk pop does not work nor does the key. How can I get the trunk open to change the battery?

Power the car's electrical systems with another car using jumper cables attached at the connection point and a good ground under the hood. That should make the trunk release work.

1999 porsche 996 replaced key fob battery disconnected battery now trunk releses are locked and cant access battery. How do you open frt trunk manually

Assuming the car battery is ok (if not, buy a male to male cigarette lighter at the auto store and connect to another car until charged enough to unlock the doors...but don't try to crank the ignition!). The trunks won't open if the battery went dead with the alarm set because arming the alarm physically locks the releases.

Sounds like the key code is switched off because you replaced the key fob battery. Try unlocking the car manual with the key in the door lock. Then switch the ignition on to reactive the keyless entry. If this does not work, you might also try pressing the fob unlock button with the key in the door lock until the dash led flashes.

2006 bentley continental w/dead battery. How can

Normally if you use the key and turn it to the left and then to the right the car will start on the resident battery and all will be well. Do not use the start button. If all lelse fails then put a battery charger into the two cigar light sockets for 1 hiur at max 10 amp with ignition turned of and with wires trapped in closed door to switch all coutesy lights off and then there will be enough for the trunk lock to energise. If it is later spec there will be a handle in the trunk accessible thru the centre arm rest by an arangutang!""

Posotive can be found in hood driver side next to fuse box. It is a small rectangle box. You can hook negative to any solid ground on the car.
