The problem is likely in the injection module which is located in the dash right behind the flip down tray to the right of the flip down fuse door the the left of the steering wheal. To test simply rapidly slap the fuse/vanity flip down door area while starting the car and it will start.I have had 5 preludes and all have the same problem a replacement is 150 or you can sotter all the connections on the board inside the fuel injection module. This will fix the problem as the original connections develop miniscule cracksAll preludes have this problem in really hot or cold weather

Where do the ignition control module located in a honda accord 1990 ex

The ignition control module (igniter) is inside the distributor, as is the coil on your Accord (1990).
Hope this helps you find it (it looks vaguely like a circuit board with tabs on it).

87 prelude has no fire from coil, replaced it an still same thing

check to see if the wiring harness connecting to the plug is not corroded.

also if all connections are good then your next step lies with the ignition control module.

Ford laser 1990 model wont start

ITS PROBLAY THE IGNITION COIL, OR IGNITION MODULE, I BET ITS THE COIL, BECAUSE USUALLY WHEN YOUR MODULE GOES OUT IT JUST DIES AND WONT START BACK, SOMETIMES THE COIL WILL GOES BAD, IT WILL RUN SOMETIMES AND NOT THE NEXT TIME.. GOOD LUCK KEITH..
