Is spare tire equipped with a pressure sensor and if so, inspect tire pressure for the spare

Tpms light on, dic indicated low tp fr, inflated to proper pressure, tpms stays on, dic wont update

TPMS - TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR WARNING LIGHT
NOTE: Tire pressure rises and falls depending on heat caused by vehicle's operation and the outside temperature. If outside temperature is low, the air inside the tire may cool, causing a lower tire inflation pressure. This may cause the low tire pressure warning light to illuminate.

When the tire pressure warning light comes on, immediately check the air pressure of all tires and adjust to the specified pressure. Make sure the warning light goes off. If the warning light stays on or flashes, there is a malfunction in the TPM system. See appropriate manufacturer service information.

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Thank you for using FixYa, have a nice day.

I am using B200 turbo engine Car. Am getting a message "check tyre pressure, switch on, and then run flat indicator" what does this mean? Is this a warning? should i take my car to a mechanic?

Hi, this car has a flat tire repair system and run-flat tires rather than a spare tire. The warning you are getting is the standard warning when low pressure is detected in one of the tires. Just check all the tires for proper pressure and if the warning continues, try to reset it using the menus. Tire warning light will not go out

Check the spare tire pressure and make sure it's 32 PSI.

Fix-A-Flat emergency air can will destroy the first generation sensor.

Tire shop will has Tire-pressure monitoring system (TPMS) reset hand held unit to reset the monitoring system.

How do i turn off the low tire pressure warning light? I changed the flat tire.

The low tire pressure light gets a signal from each tire's (including the spare) sending unit in the valve stem. If all five of the tires are reinflated to the proper pressure the light will shut its self off. If the sensor was damaged when the tire was replaced it should be replaced with a new one.

Tire pressure light is on

You cannot reset them,Make sure that you check the pressures in the tires. The Infiniti Tire Pressure Monitoring System is designed to trip the warning light anytime the pressure in any of the tires drops below 29 psi. At 29 psi it really won't look like the tires are low. You could have one tire at 29 or 28 causing the light to stay on all the time. Check your pressures, set at 34 or 35 to be safe, or whatever pressure the tire is recommended to be. Not all infiniti vehicles with TPMS have the display that shows the pressure in each tire. If the pressures are above 29 psi, Then there could be an issue with one or more of the sensors. If you have the tires replaced you will have to have the sensors relearned at the dealer. Tire rotations do not require the same.

Low tire pressure light won't stay off after proper reset.

Some newer Toyota vehicles have a sensor in the spare tire. Tires loose air over time naturally. I would check out the spare.
When did this TPS light start coming on?
Have you had new tires put on, or had a flat repair done before the light?

Tire pressure sign

Check the spare tire...The spare tire is also checked by the tire pressure warning system. Once the spare is inflated to the proper pressure, the light will go out.

Tire pressure warning light stays on all the time for no reason

The tire pressure monitor must be re-calibrated, this is a dealer only repair, no one else will touch it, these systems are very trouble prone.
