Hi and welcome to FixYa!

As a first course of action, please try to replace the fuse with a higher ampere then turn the signals on. Observe if it will blow or overheat atleast.

Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Happy New Year!

Brake lights and turn signals won't work on a 1996 ford thunderbird

Check the fuse, then the relay in the power distribution box. Probably one of the two.

Interior light fuse blows

Have him or her check for a ground issue or a bad wire somewhere. You should not be having to do this. This is some sort of electrical issue in the wiring most likely a grounding problem

Location of flasher for turn signal

  1. Access the COMBINATION Turn Signal and Hazard INDICATOR FLASHER on the Left-Hand (drivers) side of the instrument panel in the fuse junction panel.
  1. Remove turn signal flasher/hazard indicator flasher by pulling indicator flasher straight out.
  1. To install, align the terminals of the flasher and press into place.
