Question about Chevrolet Silverado 1500
Don't know what type of vehicle you have other than a Chevrolet. I would check and see if any of the bulbs are burned out. Most vehicles will not flash a turn signal if one of the bulbs are burned out. You can set your emergency 4 way flashers on and do a vehicle walk around and see if they are working. If you find one out, I would suggest replacing bulb along with the rest of the turn signal bulbs, both the front and rear. (They are all the same age and will burn out soon, so this could save time) This should clear up your problem.
If you find them all lit but not flashing, you could have a bad flasher unit. If the four way works but the left or right turn signal does not work, you could have a bad turn signal switch in your steering column. The bulbs are relativly easy to replace depending on your vehicle model, and most auto parts stores would be willing to help if you are not able to do this yourself. the flasher and turn signal parts are more involved and mgiht have to be taken care of at the dealer if you are not able to replace them yourself. Please write back with more detail of what you find if you need more help.
