If the heater core is leaking then it is time to replace it. there is also a chance that the hose clamps may need to just be tightened but since the clamps are on the engine side of the fire wall the leak at that point would not be leaking inside the car.

1998 Chrysler voyager van water leaking form heater core. once water is added in to radiator makes no difference using antifreeze

As long as the coolant is full, You won't have problems with heat. Check the rest of the system for leaks. Can't find a leak and still gets low. 2 possibilities. Heater core is leaking or head gasket is leaking. I would lean towards the heater core because of the water inside.

Water Leak

Most likely problem is a leaking heater core. This is what usually causes water leaking into the passenger compartment. Quick fix on many vehicles is to get a hose adapter the same internal diameter as the heater hoses, remove the heater hoses from the firewall connection to the heater core, and install the adapter, making a bypass loop. This will allow operation of the vehicle without coolant loss until you can replace the heater core. Of course you will have no heat in the passenger compartment during this time.

Water leaking from the housing were the heater eliment is located

the heater core is bad in summer u just route your heater hose's togther where they go thru the fire-wall.put a splice between both hoseses so water wont go into heater-core in winter u need heater u must if u have to use vehicle slow-speed only remove rariator cap pressure then leak wont leak as fast u can use heater until fluid is all leaked out or u can just move heater slide to blue area then water wont be going to heater core it wont leak out as fast or replace heater core

Water leaking onto passenger side floorboard, soaking the carpet

Your heater core has developed a leak - the wetness on the passenger side carpet is engine coolant
from a heater core leak, or a leak in one of the two hoses connected to the back of the heater core.
Your strategy: disassemble dash down to heater core, determine whether you'll need a new heater
core or new hose (or new hose clamp), then replace the offending part.

1994 pontiac grand prix leaking water

It sounds like either the heater valve which may be located inline with a 5/8" hose or 3/4" hose or the heater core is leaking, a heater core is like a small radiator.
