Question about 2000 Ford Mustang
If you are really particular about the looks get the chemicals at a Ford Dealer. You will pay more money but the chemicals are compatible with Ford products. In the aftermarket, anything made by EAGLE products will work well.
The problem with household cleaners for the interior is that the chemicals which remove grim will remove the chemicals for softness and anticracking agents. I like Fords' Custom Silicone Gloss for the exterior metal, but it is a light top coat- easy to apply and remove- and flows in lower temperatures.
