You should probably slow down on those speed bumps. ;-)

If the strut went clear through the hood, then the strut tower must have been damaged. The only way to fix that is to cut off and weld in a new strut tower. Unless you're a good metal fabricator, you'll probably have to have a good frame and body shop do the work. Even if you are a good metal fabricator, you'll still have to have the front end realigned.

If you had the struts done, you should have had an alignment done asap afterwards. If you didnt, that could be why the struts have gone bad already.

Knoking soud frome pasenger front

Hi Buddy, Suggest:- If mine - I'd check LF wheel bearing by jacking that corner up and then, using both hands, try to move the wheel - firstly by placing your hands at 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock followed by 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock. = any movement other than very minor = means the wheel bearing for that wheel needs to be replaced. A job that should NOT be delayed !!! (you surely don't want to see that wheel passing your inside on the motorway eh? .-.-.-.*--"-IDEA="--* ~ Check the other ~ 3 ~ WhEeLs ...[OOO] ... at the same TiMe !!! ... Kind Regards ~ D

How to replace front struts on 2002 chrysler town and country

Front struts? Basically you take the two large bolts off of the hub at bottom of the strut and the 3 bolts under the hood above the strut, be sure the brake line bracket is unbolted from it.
you will need a spring compressor to remove the old strut from the spring.
BE WARNED the spring is under a lot of pressure, use extreme caution!

How do i change the front struts on a1995 buick regal grand sport

Use a spring compressor to clamp the spring down (Be Careful). disconnect strut from lower control arm, and the 3 or 4 bolts under the hood ontop of the strut tower. Remove strut and spring, remove spring from strut (Still Compressed), put spring on new strut (Still Compressed), Install bolts under hood, aka strut tower, reconnect lower control arm, slowly uncompress the spring and make sure it seats properly. Take it an alignment shop to get your front end re-aligned.

I have a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica - strut broke and made a hole through the hood of the car - is this an issue with this car

I had this same thing happen to me on the right front. Fortunately I caught mine before it made it through to the outer sheet metal of the hood. I replace the struts and upper mounts to fix.

If my front pasenger is burned out is it just the

This vehicle is new enough it is just the Bulb for the head light. Open the hood and look in the area just behind the head light and you will see the wires leading to it. You should also see a collar looking connection you can unscrew to remove the bulb assembly. Remove this and unplug the bulb and insert the replacement and re-insert the assembly screwing the collar down. Make sure you get the collar screwed back down completely, this is what makes the Headlight assembly water tight.

When I open the hood of my 2000 tdi beetle, and look at the upper front strut mounts, the cone around the strut bolt is loose on both sides. I had both struts replaced 2yrs ago. I just had my tires...

the cone naturally has some clearance between the body. on the underside of what you see is a rubber bushing called the 'upper strut mount' these are a commonly replaced item. you need a spring compresser to get em out.

no you do not! this is a congame! unless your struts do not return to full ride height in one two two bounces when you push on the front of your hood you do not need to replace them. they wear out just like shocks
