Question about 2002 Chevrolet Suburban
If your Suburban has "hydroboost" brakes then the problem might be in that unit. Look on the firewall where you would add brake fluid. If there is a large round disk with a vacum hose attached to it then you DON'T have hydroboost. If it has two lines that come and go from the Power steering pump, then you do. You might just need to bleed the air out. With the engine running, turn the steering wheel all the way to the right and then all the way to the left about 10 times. Then look at the resevoir on the pump.
