Yes, the vehicle was running on battery voltage alone, without the alternator output voltage. Your lights may come one as well as other accessories, but there is not enough amps to turn the starter now due to a battery that is not fully charged.

My 2005 nissan altima wont start, no power, no lights come on. had the battery tested and it is fine.

Most often the battery cables as they connect to the battery get dirty and they can look clean and not make it so clean them anyway. If the car was jumped started wrong the main fuse can be blown and no power gets to the dash. Test light at the big power wire on the back of the altenator if its dead it's not going to start or light any of the dash lights either.

Blue High beam indicator flashing and high beam lights and daytime running lights no longer working

Check your altenator. Mine had the same problem blew all the front headlights, running lights. My altenator was over charging the system. Sounds like you need a new altenator. Pull the bulbs to see if they are blown..if your lucky the fuse just went. Fuses #15,16,17,18 located beside the battery may just be blown also.

Car wont turn over all lights and radio work. 2002 jetta

Hello there:
This could be caused by a weak battery or a loose battery terminals
or you might have a wire goin to or coming from the starter or even a bad starter or altenator you have a fuse in the fuse box that is bad that controles the ignition this may be causing your problem see if you can
first remove the battery terminals and clean them really good and reinstall them and try this ifstill nothing .
jump start the car and see if you have any low voltage showing up on the volt meter or if nothing i would start looking at the altenator ok?
Hope that this is very helpful for you
BHest regards MIchael

Headlights wont turn on

The sound system was causing to much of an unpredictable power usage on the headlights and the fuse has blown as a safety precaution.
