It's not a Bose system. It has 4 speakers, 2 in front and 2 in the back seat. We did find a fuse for an Amp however we can't seem to locate one. We have looked under the center console but cannot find one.

Hi

Is the Radio powering up? if it has power and is working then the only other option is that 2 of the speaker wires are touching somewhere, if 2 speaker wires touch you get no sound at all.

Hope this helps

The fuse could be an in-line type from the back of the radio, you would have to remove the radio to to get it.

Its a Bose system? You can get a pretty good sound with the AOEM-GM24, an amp, and 2--10" subs. you will be suprised how much better it sounds.

The sub in the standard bose system is pretty weak. The mids and highs are pretty impressive when combined with aftermarket amps/subs.

Check the fuses. Sounds like one or two got fried during the radio install. Use test light to test all the small fuses with ignition on

No power to pioneer radio in a 1993 chevy silverado, installed new radio in truck and can not get it to come on. all fuses are good, returned radio, got a new one, same problem. any help?

If fuses are good the hot or ground wire has an open (broken wire). Try a visual for a broken or disconnected red or black wire.
The red wire should have 12 volts when the key is turned on.

When i start my 2006 chevy silverado its making a squeking noise it sounds like its coming from the belt pullys but im not sure what else could it be

Check the belt tensioner they squeal when they fail due to constant spring pressure on the pulley> if you replace it I would suggest replaceing the belt unless it is new, check the alternator bearings ( spin it by hand with the belt off> they are known to fail)finally clean all pully and make sure the belt is perfectly clean and nothing on it before installing it. NOTE:Never get any grease on a serp belt it will make noise.
