Sounds like its the washer pump hose for wipers. or it could be for the 4x4 engage if equipped with 4x4.

R+R l ft brake hose.cant get a solid pedal when bleeding brakes.Almost no oil comes out of the bleeders on the calipers.

If you ran the MC dry, you may have sucked in a ton of air. If you're sure the system is now completely sealed you have to just keep pumping and bleeding, preferably starting at the right rear brake, then to the left rear brake, the right front and finally the left front. Sometimes no matter how much you pump the air will not come out, then you have to use a mighty VAC and power bleed the system.

What woud make the breaks lock up 1989

That's such a safety issue. Pencil in a repair date and take your car in for a complete inspection of the brake system.

Manufacturers, at least a lot of them, used a split diagonal brake system lay- out, meaning two separate brake systems, one for the left front and right rear, and one for the right front and left rear. Thinking was, in the event of brake failure, only one system went bad, but the other brake system would still work, with brakes on both front and rear of car, but diagonally, see...it was a safety feature of the time. If you have two brake fluid reservoirs, you have a split brake system, whether split front system with disc brakes and rear system (a smaller reservoir) for drum brakes, or split diagonally as I described.

Nonetheless, both systems work off the same brake master cylinder. I would want a brake specialist to inspect the whole brake system, especially if it has anti-lock brakes. Somebody needs to test all that old, old stuff.

Need vacuum system diagram for 1992 mercedes 300e

Big breather from valve cover to air cleaner, the small vac line runs from there to the FPR.

These next are standing in front of the car:

Intake manifold lower outer runs to EZL

Intake manifold lower inner (right side) goes to switchover vac valve on driver fender. The other side of this vac valve goes to the throttle body

Intake manifold lower inner (left side) goes to switchover vac valves on passenger side fender. These then go back to the EGR valve once making a loop under the distributor cap for whatever reason.

Intake manifold rear runs to a 'three' way valve (or 'Y' connector) on the secondary firewall. This is usually a vac leak.

make sure you are bleeding them by doing them as an abs system,do the right rear then the left front, then the left rear then the right front, the opposite wheels are how the system brakes.

Brake pedle goes to the floor i have change out the rotor, shoes, calp, master brake cyl purge the sytem of air and still goes down

ok , how did you purge the system? if you used a power bleaded that hooks on the top of the master cyl. you put 15 lbs of air in the bleader.open it up and let it run out the right rear wheel cyl with a hose from the bleader to a soda bot or glass jar with a lid and small hole to kinda hold the small vac hose in place. then when you get all the air out the right rear go to the left rear and the right front and at last the left front. be sure the back brakes are adjusted to where you can hear it rub and feel it drag or you will never get a pedal. i have 17 years asa exp at goodyear tire co... rate me if i help anyone here im going to move on if im not helping anyone here.

Adjust your rear brake shoes. Then rebleed the system. Start at the master cylinder Bleed master first then the wheel furthest away from the master (right rear then left rear then right front then left front. Do that and your pedal should be good.
