There is a fuse usually up under dash panel on driver's side. Not to many are under the hood but some are. There is also a relay on the passenger side kick panel

AC and Heater Fan are the same so if you take out the fuse neither will work.
If Compressor is bad and you want to use the heater and DeFroster just unplug the Compressor wire from the compressor and you ought to be able to use the Heater & Defroster .

I have a 2005 Hyundai Sonata GL v6. The rear window defog/defrost doesn't work. I have checked all fuses & all are good. Also the switch illuminates & I can hear a click in the fuse box located...

There are 2 Plugs that go into the REAR Defrost. If one of them is off, then it will not work. If you broke the Electrical Track, then it needs to be repaired... They sell kits to do this at your local Automotive Repair Stores... Time consuming but easy to do.

99 kia sportage will not start and wipers, power windows, and heater fan don't work either

In the engine compartment fuse/relay box, check the 40A IGN fuse. If it is blown, the items you mentioned will not work. Replacing the fuse should clear up the trouble and you'll be able to start

2006 impala rear glass heater not working please help winter is coming...

Locate the fuse box. Look for rear defrost on label on cover of fuse housing; or your owners manual for this fuse. If this does not help, and your fuses are ALL in working order, then locate the wiring for your rear defrost and follow it. There may a breaking point.

I try to find cigarette filter to replace the filter because my cigarette lighter doesn't work ( Toyota Camary LE 2000). I couldn't find it Thank you Somsak

Do you mean that you are looking for the fuse? The fuse for the cigarette lighter is located in the fuse block under the left side of the dash. it is marked "CIG". It is a 15 Amp fuse

NOTE: This fuse also powers your clock, air bag sensor assembly, remote control mirror switch and your shift lock. If this fuse is blown, you will also have problems with these items.

Your vehicle is also equipped with an auxilliary power outlet (Which looks the same as the cigarette lighter socket) it is powered by the fuse marked "*1" If this fuse is blown, only the power outlet will not work. This also is a 15 Amp fuse. (See picture below)

2001 Sienna rear window defogger doesn't work

There are 3 fuses that control the rear defogger, and 1 relay

The fuses are: 10 amp HEATER, 10 amp MIRROR-HEATER; under the dash
The 30 amp DEF fuse is in the fuse box under the hood
The relay is the DEFOGGER relay, which is on the back side of the fuse panel under the dash

Also, check for a loose wire on the defroster grid (on the back glass), this is the most common problem.
