Check the heater motor relay and wiring harness plug at the relay as they tend to over heat and melt together. This is now a recall on certain vehicles.

AC/Heater blower stays on with key off. Have to remove 40 Amp fuse under hood to turn off.

The most common cause of this is that the blower motor speed dropping resistor is defective, I suggest you try that first. It is located in the air ducting (the connector harness sticking out) near the blower motor. See picture below.

I have a 2006 GMC Sierra. The heat/defrost blower fan stays on when the ignition is turned off. The only way to stop it is to pull the fuse.

Sounds like the blower switch is shorted. Try running through the blower speeds to see if that changes anything.

2005 Tahoe,my battery was drained I belive its from the ac/heater

there are three fuse boxes in that truck one on the driver side, one on the passenger side and one under the hood i would think that blower motor fuse is in the passenger location what i would do is star pulling fuses until the blower motor stops remember to put htem back in the correct location

Can't find Nav fuse

I have a 2008 GMC Sierra 2500HD Duramax and use the HyperTech software also. I assume you are talking about the installation instructions for HyperTech where it tells you to remove the ONStar and Radio fuse. Look in the owners manual for the fuse box layout under the hood. On mine, it's in the Duramax book and the only fuse that applies is the one listed for the Audio System. You will need to reset your clock when finished.
