Low oil, bad sensor, really low idle.
First check oil level.
then if oil level is ok, and oil light is still there, pay attention to idle has to be 750 to 850 RPM.

If idle ok, give gas to increase idle to more than 2000 rpm if light goes away you need a sensor called OIL PRESSURE SWITCH.

Hello I have 1997 gmc jimmy 4x4 , I just 4 days go private sale but notice a oil leak underneath cannot tell where it's coming out from sum where up high from underneath motor

possible a rocker cover gasket that needs replacing
run your fingers around the edge and any wet oil indicates the leak
could also be oil that was splashed on the cover during an engine top up or oil change

While i was doing off road driving a warnning light (a/t oil temp) turn on, i looked underneath the car and i found oil leak drop after drop, not too sure now should I change the transmition oil and filter...

Change the transmission fluid and filter. The light says fluid temp. is high, so you may have some burnt fluid-deadly for transmissions. Drop the trans. pan and look for metal shavings-too much will indicate failure of transmission parts. If not too much, you may be alright with fluid and filter change.
Stop the leak,. make sure it is trans. fluid, not motor oil. If motor oil, stop the leak and change oil and filter. I would do the transmission regardless, since the light came on.

How well does the vehicle run?

Assuming that the engine did pass the EGR function test on the emission test results, and the MIL (Malfunction Indicator Light) or check engine light is not on when the engine is running, and if you are not sure when the last time it was that the engine had a complete tune-up, with distributor cap, ignition rotor, spark plugs, spark plug wires, air and fuel filters, then a complete tune-up would certainly help, and if the engine oil and oil filter have not been changed in a while, then they should also be changed before an emission test because long used engine oil traps carbon and it will show up as higher CO on the emission test because the emission analyzer will be able detect the higher CO from the engine oil through the PCV valve.

However, it would seem from those HC readings that there is a vacuum leak, and carefully inspect all of the vacuum lines for any cracks or damage, (especially the vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator) because cracks in the vacuum lines seem to like to hide underneath the lines.

The emission label under the hood should have the vacuum line routing diagram printed on it, and the vacuum lines should all be checked to be certain that they are all connected correctly.

Here is the firing order diagram for that vehicle to help assist you tune-up the vehicle.

Hello i have a vauxhal zafira 1.9 tdi i was driving 2 days ago when a orange oil light came on with a wiggly line underneath came on once cooled i filled with oil but since the car has been really sluggish...

because of the lack of oil you could possibly have run the turbo bearings dry,the other indication will be exessive smoke/using oil.check oil level every 1k so that it dont happen again.....oil consumption should be 1pt per 750,less than 350,engine needs sorting.....

I believe I have a bad oil pump. I know my serpentine belt needs replaced. can these problems be related? My oil light came on, oil was just changed two days prior. I checked oil and it was okay. There is...

They are not related. If the belt broke, the water pump would stop pumping, the car would overheat, power steering would quit, battery stop charging, etc, but just 'needing to be replaced' means that the above will happen if the belt fails. Your oil pressure is provided by the oil pump, which is not dependent upon the serpentine belt. You should remove the oil pressure sending unit, crank the engine over, run it briefly (10 seconds), you should have oil spewing out where the sending unit was. If not, there most likely is no oil pressure, as indicated by the red warning light. Always assume the oil light going on indicates there is no pressure, and turn off the vehicle immediately. The risk of continuing to drive the vehicle will result in severe engine damage. I hope this hasn't happened, but be prepared for the worst.

When i turn off the car sometimes the oil light comes on

Then what? It stays on forever. Comes on for just a second? You watch it till it goes out----you know just like the refrigerator light. But how do you know it's off when the door is closed?
Man, you could spend you whole day at this.
If the oil light comes on after it's running......now there's a problem.

Clearly not enough info to comment on this. Who cares if the light comes on when the engine is off. It's not running, it doesn't need oil.Quick, when the motor is off, and you've reached your destination. Unass the seat.

Small green light

I believe that's the low beam headlight indicator. The circle w/ lines going to on side is the highbeam indicator. You can download your owners manual from Toyota.
