you can try using self tapping screws , but predrill the holes to sve stripping. after a time this will loosen up usually a year. this is when you have to get creative. i have a novel solution which is only for the stout hearted. considering the year of the jeep in question you go for it the first time through save time.

Best thing to do is make sure nothing is bend or broken in the skeleton. Start from front sleeve above windshield. Secure the snaps on the roll bars. Then work to the back.

You will need to purchase the Hardware kit also. The softtop does not come with it. It runs around $150. That is if you dont have one already. With this installed the softtop will be easy to put on

It can be repaired, but take into account the condition of the existing window. If it's starting to yellow or shows signs of small cracks or clouding your better off replaing it.
