This problem only occurs sometimes, maybe once a week.Changed fuel filter & added fuel system cleaner.Transmission was flushed about 2 years ago by dealer-scheduled maintance.Dealer said service engine light should come on if sensor is bad ? Will check items on solution list. Thanks

It may need the idle set or it could have a bad sensor maybe throtle position or mas air flow or iac

It could be various things. i would start with the crank angle sensor. it isnt expensive. it is located behing the starter. beyond that it could be your fuel pump or a coil pack or various other things.

ive seen transmissions cause this in high-end luxery cars... but that being said..

-sounds like your fuel filter is clogged. (i just shake mine out and run carb cleaner in it, which i do every 15,000 miles)
-could also be fuel pump
-loose battery terminal
-bad alternator
-clogged MAF sensor

1995 Isuzu Rodeo intermitantly loses power at highway speed. I can speed up only by pumping the gas pedal. I replaced the fuel filter and continue to have same problem. Engine seems to shudder and lose...

Since you replaced the filter it sounds like a classic fuel pump problem. Don't know your car but best thing to do is buy a repair manual for your car like haynes or chilton's at your local AP store. Read up on it at the trouble shooting section and the RR section. Good luck.

Seems as though you've got it covered...Try adding "SeaFoam" ($9) from Advance Auto Parts and add it to your gas...drive for at least 100mi. Good Luck

I HAVE A NISSAN d21 2.4L 1987 hardbody pick up as im driving when i let up on the gas pedal it seems to stumble just a little bit then it seems fine after that ???

Sounds like it could be faulty fuel injectors. (unless of course, it's carburated, then it'd be a poorly adjusted float)
