I need to replace tranmissions lines on my 2005 trailblazer what is the best possible solutions, i have already replaced the front, Cant reach the others. angiestacyb4u@hotmail.com

Hi, they are located behind the dipstick on the passenger side of the transmission, you must remove the retainer clips and pull straight out the same as to the radiator. You may beed to remove the heat shield on the side of the transmission to ease access...

YOU NEED A DISCONNECT TOOL TO RELEASE THE LINE FROM THE FITTING, THE ORING IS REPLACEABLE BUT IT IS PAIN TO GET OUT OF THE FITTING. NAPA SELLS THE REPLACEMENT FITTINGS THAT ALREADY HAVE THE NEW ORINGS INSTALLED. THEY DONT COST TOO MUCH

there are spring clips on the fittings that you can easily remove with a seal pick slide the old line out replace the clip and o-ring inside of fitting and push the new line in till it clicks

chevy need to recall the trailblazer from 02 -08 and fix the front differntials. its amazing how everyone is having the same problems its not the drivers its the car

How to i change thermostat in 2005 trailblazer


The thermostat is located behind and slightly below the alternator on the drivers side. For the best access to the thermostat, you should unbolt and move the alternator to reach the upper bolt. The lower Thermostat bolt can be reached by taking off the front drivers side tire and reaching in with a 24" extension. The actual bolts are 10mm. Hope this helps...
