Question about Toyota Previa
I have a 2003 Toyota Previa and I need to replace the bulb of the high mountd stop light. I have taken out the 2 screws but still cannot remove the lens assembly. What must I do please?
This is slightly counter-intuitive, but the plastic lens needs to go in and up before it comes out. After removing the two screws, use something thin and flat to pull down on the underside painted part of the wing between the two screws. A little bit of prying downwards. Two raised lips become visible - they are holding the lens from being able to be pushed up and in. A second pair of hands could help. Then use your thumbs on the lens close to the screws, gripping with your fingers on the top of the wing and squeeze up. POP!
