Check the turbo pipes for internal splitting , this will block air flowing through to the engine. Also check if a catalitic convertor is fitted , this could be blocked.

I have tried this in the past but VW and Bentley jealous guard their copyrights. Best to break down and pay the $40... Hope this helps...;-)

as the caddy van is based on the polo/seat saloon and has the same non turbo engine any one will do.
also the timing marks are on the top and bottom pulleys(you may need chalk to highlight them) PLEASE replace the tensioner at the same time as these go first.

The fuse must be in the main fuse box. The position of the fuses is normally marked on the inside of the fuse box cover and also in the owner's handbook. If you don't come right with these, work your way through the fuses looking for a blown one. To ease your search, the fuel pump fuse it should be around 30 amps.
