When I turn my lights on my tail lights work but when I hit my brakes the don't light up I have a 2001 vw beetle????

the brake lights don't light up or the taillights don't light up? the brake lights are brighter than the tailights so the tailights won't show up whenbrakes are applied. if no lights work when brakes are applied then check for a bad ground at the light assembly.

I have power to my fuses and my running lights work but i cant get my brake lights to come on.this is for a 1970 vw baja

there is a pressure switch fitted to the brake master clylinder, 1st try taking the connectors off and putting the wires together, (with ign on) if that works switch is u/s, try a full bleed of the brakes and see if its just **** in the m/cly, if that fails a new switch is needed, but a full bleed is required if you take the switch out.

I need the torque sequence for a 1970 vw 1600cc cylinder head. I have a 1970 Volkwagon Beetle,1600cc.

Imagine that the head bolts are numbered from left to right.  Go 2-3-1-4 and set the wrench to 23 ft/pounds.

I need to know the number on the bearing for the 1970 beetle outer- rear please.

I suggest you purchase a repair manual for your car if you need part numbers. They are only about 15 bucks for your car. Alternatively, you can go to a beetle specialty shop and they should know what you need. One popular one is VW Parts Place Michigan. Google them, they have an online store.
