no, thanks, I found the answer by reading through previous people who had the problem. You are correct is is out of sync , so you have to pull the DDM and unplug it and then plug it back and everything will be working again.

Hi

if the car is deadlocked then this can occur, I would disconnect the car battery again then leave for about 30 mins, replace the cable to the battery in this order, red first then black. this can often solve the problem.

If that does not work then it could be a relay, also there are 2 sets of fuses, small ones in the cab and the larger ones for the engine components.

Hope this helps

Regards

Dan

Re=check your fuses: if the door locks also wont work, its possible that they need been re-programmed. Check in the owners manual to reptograming the keys.

I seem to remember someone having problems like this and they had to have the thing re-sync but i had never heard of this before i would be inclined to look at the battery terminal in case you left a wire off the POS terminal

SOURCE: door locks and drivers window dont work

check the wiring in the drivers door between the dorr and the kick panel . most of the time youll have to cut the rubber boot that covers the wires and check ther condition. for breaks in the wirers when i used to wrench that was the most commun spot

SOURCE: no power in driver side door

I just fix the same problem :(
Two wires in harness were broke. Let me give you some instructions to fix this. 1- Remove the inside panel. then remove the conection that is in the middle betwen the door and the body of the car, is like black cover for the wires. In my case 2 of these wires were broke.
2- Remove the screws of the door in the frame then close the door and pull the door only a few inches just to have acces of your hand to pull the wires.
3- Add another piece of cable, to meke these cables longer, and put everything back.

After my 330i 2002 alarm went off, the central locking also don't work anymore. I had to force window open to get into the car. The key just work on drivers side door. Any suggestions?

Check the fuse. If fuses are good, check the battery in the remote. If that is good, try unhooking the negative battery cable for 10 seconds and reconnecting it.

Windows, Locks, And speakers not working. No blown fuses

On some cars when you disconnect the battery for whatever reason certain electrical areas will not be restored to operation after the battery is reconnected. You need what they refer to as a radio code to restore radio and other circuits to operation. The code should be in car manual. If not contact the dealer for the radio code for your car.

Automatic door locks stopped working. Power window controls do not work. The only window working is drivers window.

Change the battery in your wireless remote control. Check the fuses located underneath the drivers side steering wheel, flip the fuse box cover lid over and replace the power window and power door lock fuses. The back of the cover lid will have a diagram showing where each fuse is located, replace with the same number amp fuse. If your fuses are good and the battery inside your remote is new then you will need to replace the drivers side power window switch, click on the link below to view a replacement:

Door locks and power window

Just did this procedure I got from coloradofans.com forums:

"any type of power/voltage change seems to trigger this issue

The most common symptom is power locks fail and only the driver window quits, however that is on the extended cab.

Steps to fix and it works every time.

take door panel off driver's door
Disconnect the wiring attached to window and power lock control unit
disconnect battery cables
connect the negative to the positive cable(((NO BATTERY CONNECTED)))
This will act to short residual voltage in the system

5 minutes later
place the key in the ignition and turn to the run position
connect the wiring to the window/lock controller
connect the negative cable to the battery
then the positive
open drivers side door
turn key to the off position((do not remove yet)) you should get a series of dings through speakers telling you the key is still in the ignition
once it begins dinging pull the key out and you should hear the door lock solenoids trigger and the windows should work." - Coloradofans.com forums

Power door locks and driver side power window not working. Keyless remote will not open doors although when pressed, the interior lights come on so I don't believe it is an issue with the fob battery....

The solution to this issue was recently discovered during our most recent trip to the shop. We told them not to leave the window down when they changed the battery... BUT DID THEY LISTEN...NOOOO.

So quite by accident I was finally able to correct and then test fail the system and test and fix again...

Here you go.;
1. disconnect the battery and connect both the positive and negative cables together(after disconnected))
2. disconnect the window and lock controller in the driver's side door.
3. Leave cables connected for at least 5 minutes
4. Re-connect door window controller and locks wiring harness
5. Place the key in the ignition and turn to the run position
6. Connect Battery starting with the negative cable(ensuring not to connect then disconnect, (one swift motion)
7. open drivers side door and turn key to the off position(do not remove)
8. You should hear a series of dings
9 Once dings are heard remove the key from the ignition and you should hear the door lock solenoids activate..
10. Congrats.. Your done and the windows and locks work.

Power window on driver side stopped working and the door locks stopped working . Also this morning the battery was dead but nothing was left on.

It sounds like you may a faulty door lock switch. If you pushed the switch to lock the doors and the switch stuck and kept door lock solenoids energized, that would drain the battery. It would also keep the door locks from unlocking, as to why window don't work it could all be on the same fuse or circuit breaker. Usually the power windows are on an automatic reset circuit breaker. Do you hear click and a short time later another click (with the battery charged)? If so that the circuit breaker tripping then resetting. Good luck!
