Why do I have an intermittent problem with ABS and power steering lights?

Bad or loose intermittent wire connections to and from sensors. Some unauthorised mechanic has been working on the car? Take it back and talk to the service manager, or the shop owner.

I have no rear lights. There seems to be a short possibly. when you step on the brakes or have the head lights on the turn signals blink fast. All the front lights work fine just no rear lights.

the bulbs that are used are a plug-in style and you need to take them out and check the ends of each bulb. I had one doing the same thing, and the bulb was good, which didn't make sense until I inspected the plug-in, which had a burnt end causing the bulbs to only receive power intermittently. Check yours and you may just be looking at the same thing.

Turn signals work intermittently what is wrong

Hello. Generally speaking- with turn signals, they either work or they don't work at all.

Here are the basic troubleshooting tips- if the light blinks extremely fast, that means a bulb is out on that particular side; either the left or right side. You will have to check whether the bulb is burned out in the front of the car or in the rear light assembly.

If the lights (either side) do not come on at all OR they do come on without flashing, the turn signal relay needs to be replaced.

And most likely this is the root of the turn signal working intermittently- you'll have to replace the relay- which is the easiest fix on any car.

Look in your car's owner's manual and look under the headings: electrical or turn signal lights or electrical panel, etc. It will tell you where to find the relay cluster for the signal lights. You can go to your local auto parts store to buy one (they are inexpensive) and I'm sure the counter person will show you where to find the burned out relay if not actually install it for you.

Hope this helps!
