SOURCE: engine light 2006 pontiac g6(reset)

first be sure that its the engine light and not the "service" light. the service light will usually illuminate if its time for an oil change. if its the service light ur owners manual should tell u how to reset it. if its ur engine light then try disconnecting ur positive battery cable for 1 minute. that should reset ur ecm and get rid of the engine light. if the engine light comes back on then have a diagnostic scan done to determine whats causing it. you can't use a c-clamp to compress the rear calipers. just as adidas_153 said you need a special tool that you can rent from Autozone for a $30 deposit.

SOURCE: 2006 Pontiac G6 GTP window auto close/open

OMG. I replaced the battery in my 06 G6 and had the same problem. the windows would not roll up or down how they did before. I read the answers on here and it does work. Hold up the window switch for ten seconds and it resets. You will have to do it to each window. Worked great. Thanks

SOURCE: how do I expose the motor on a 2006 pontiac g6 to

Remove everything from the headliner and remove all of the trim holding it in place. Carefully pry the headliner out from one side and the rest will now be easily removed. Unless the car has been subject to abuse and intense heat the headliner will not come loose from the backing and can be reinstalled.

No heat in Pontiac g6 2007

troubleshoot!
are the heater hoses (firewall) gettin just as hot as the radiator hoses? If not, focus on blockage in the heater core.
If they are same temperature, might be a mechanical/vacuum malfunction in the climate control system.
