Question about 2000 Ford Focus

1 Answer

Can somebody please help me. After nearly taking my fuse box to bits i found fuse 63. Didnt need a new one anyway after all that. My car is getting right on my nerves to the point i dont like letting people in as i cant be bothered locking all the doors individually any more. Arggh. Also, after being in the car about an hour, the locking seems to kick in and the doors open. Im flabergasted. How do i get my stupied central locking to work. Any help much appreciated before i kill the car

Well this car is notorious for two things 1- corrosion in power distribution box under hood and bad b.c.m.(body control module) which controls this exact function plus more. take your car to ford and let them test it. you can always buy and replace the b.c.m. yourself if you want. good luck.

Could any one tell me the possition of the fuse that covers the cigerete lighter on ford focus 2007 1.6 cc

In the fuse box to the left off the steering wheel ny the brake pedal, The fuse you are looking for is in the # 47 position in your fuse box. When looking in there, there are three rows of fuses. The # 47 fuse is the 7th one down from the top in the middle row. It is a 20 amp fuse or should be anyway unless somebody changed it. I hope this helped and good luck.

I need to know where the fuel pump relay is and how to replace it

you did'nt specify what year, make, model of vehicle but will try anyway.fuel pump relays are usually found in the main engine fuse box under the hood.look for a black box either on driver or passenger side fenderwell of the car. open the box and look under the lid cover for fuse and relay locations.the relay should be a square black object about 2inches in size and simply plugs into the fuse box like a fuse.just pull upwards on the relay and it should just unplug, then install the new one in same place, just push it into the open fuel pump relay position.very simple to do. if you don't find a main fuse box, please repost your question with all the information on the vehicle as possible.thank you for choosing fixya.com

Where are the fuses for the lighter and accessory plugs

THE FUSE YOU ARE LOOKING FOR IS #63 POWER POINT, INSTRUMENT PANEL, CIGAR LIGHTER FRONT AND IT IS A 20 AMP FUSE. #66 IS POWER POINT, C PILLER, REAR AND IS ALSO A 20 AMP FUSE BUT NOT FOR THE FRONT INSTRUMENT PANEL. #S 57 & 61 ARE LISTED AS NOT USED. THESE FUSES ARE LOCATED IN THE FUSE BOX IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. THEY ARE ABOUT 3 ROWS OF FUSES FROM THE BACK OF THE COMPARTMENT COMING TOWARD THE FRONT. THEY WILL BE MINI FUSES IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FUSE BOX AFTER THE FIRST 3 ROWS OF FUSES FROM THE BACK OF THE FUSE BOX TO THE FRONT WHERE YOU WOULD BE STANDING. THEY WILL HAVE 4 MINI FUSES TO THE RIGHT OF THEM AND 4 TO THE LEFT. IF THEY ARE LABLED THEY WILL BE 66 AND 63. YOU WANT 63 WHICH WILL BE CLOSEST TO YOU.
